Our high school

is located in
the southwest
of Badajoz in
Extremadura
village called
Berlanga
 Our high school is called “four
villas” because children of four
different villages (Berlanga,
Maguilla, Ahillones and Valverde de
Llerena) study in it.
In Berlanga there are 2717 habitants
and its surface is 127,8 km²

In Ahillones there are 1508 habitants

and its surface is 21,5 km²

In Valverde there are 885 habitants

and its surface is 41 Km²

In Maguilla there are 1300 habitants

and its surface is 98km2

Economy
There is a predominance of the agricultural sector that
takes the 72.9% of the population, followed by the
services sector 16.1%, construction 6.7% and industry
4.3%.

Predominant agricultural crop type, just as the olive

groves and vineyards are cultivated prominently.

Livestock including pigs followed by sheep, cattle,

goats and poultry.
Ahillones's Economy
Its economy depends mainly on agriculture
and livestock.

Cereal is mainly grown, there are lots of

olive trees

The predominant cattle are sheep and pigs.

Valverde de Llerena's
Economy
Its economy is predominantly livestock (Animal
Care) and agriculture(olive)

Greek cross plan and the
baptismal area.

one of the most important
Maguilla parks,is located
on the outskirts. And
inside you can see the
vines, the pond and the
entrance arch.
Berlanga
The first image is Pilar square, a
place to rest where there are
benches and fountain with a
rather pretty lady with pitchers
and beautiful surroundings.

It is one of the most prominent of the

town where the town hall is also
the meeting place the children
with their parents. His name
is“The Ride”

In the first image we have the steeple of
the church of Valverde, inside there
are a varietly of religious figures.
The second image shows a small pond,
which is at the end of the village, the
pines and a variey of animals. Some
weekends families gather for a good
meal, which they enjoy much.

In Maguilla:: the monstriles,the burial of the sardine,

candles, carnivals, la fert the monia, Saint Isidro

In Ahillones: the crist,the emigration, Saint Isidro,

horseback riding, Saint Jose

In Valverde: la jina del rio, the feast , Saint Isidro, Easter

In Berlanga: bougies, Saint Isidro, the show, Santiago,

the carnival, Easter, Saint Jose.
