Introduction
Internship is academic activities undertaken by
students to do practical work directly on the
institutions / agencies or companies that are relevant
to education taken by students in the course. The form
of the activities carried out are studying, researching
and participate directly by following all the activities
at the site of the Job Training / Internship .

Analyze
In the course of this internship , I wanted to know more about ADDM
system which is newly implemented. ADDM is a system that
automatically discovering inventory , configuration , and relationships
of data , and by mapping applications and business services to
Reviews their supporting IT infrastructure.
To conduct discovery ADDM, it will takes some data that taken from
the database inventory. That data is useful to support the discovery
process . One of the most data needed to perform discovery of ADDM
is a list of IP addresses , because IP Address is the identity of a
network .

Collect list of Inventory Data

ADDM require inventory data from its database in order to make the process of discovery .
Therefore , the data from the inventory database can be obtained through the former
inventory database from Employee and vendors Telkomsel .

Configuration
IP Address configuration can be done using SecureCRT tools through a network proxy
Telkomsel . The configuration process is useful for the standardization between IP
Address and device .

Discovery ADDM
Discovery is one of the functions owned by ADDM System ( Atrium
Discovery and Dependency Mapping) . This discovery process is used to
check the IP Address which failed in the configuration process.The results of
the discovery will explain the reasons why the IP Address configuration is
failed.
Evaluate the result of Ip Address That have been discovered
After the results of discovery is completed , there will be an evaluation of the
results of this discovery and will make improvements (based on
configuration reason failed ) to IP addresses that fail in discovery . When the
results of the discovery process is complete it will do the re-configuration and
re-discovery of the IP address that is fixed until everything is standardized
between IP Address and the device .

Result
Output of ADDM will show a user the information about
IP Address status, topology network which is include the
relation between router, switch, cache engine and DNS.
After that, the information will be compared to find the
solution.
From that information, user will get the advantage of
using ADDM such as:
- problem solving
- Reduce Data Collection Cost
- Data Accuracy
