Why do it?

- The importance of doing things well

Industry studies have shown that a staggering 31.1% of all projects are
canceled before completion, 52.7% of all projects have a cost overrun of
189% and a time overrun of 222%.
The 3 major reasons why projects fail are:
1.Lack of user input,
2.Incomplete requirements and specifications and
3.Changing requirements and specifications.
Why is this the case? Companies say that because of business pressures
they:
1.Don't have time to do requirements,
2.That clients don't know what they want and
3.Clients keep changing their requirements.

I'm sure most of you have heard these reasons before. Consequently what
gets delivered is a system that is late, over budget and contains only a
fraction of the user functionality. This results in maintenance and
enhancement efforts that cost more time, money and resources over the
project's life than doing it right the first time.

So, if we don't have time to do it right the first time, where do we find the
time to fix it?

We have solved these problems, and we're going to show you how-to-do-it
through a series of explanations and demonstrations of applied best practice
