STRESS

STRESS is defined as organisms total response to an environmental


condition or stimulus, also known as stressor.

STRESS typically describes a negative condition that can have an


impact on an organisms mental and physical well-being.

STRESS arises when people can not manage or handle.

KINDS OF STRESS

Positive Stress: STRESS having positive effect, spurring motivation and


awareness, providing the stimulation to cope/handle with challenging
situation.

STRESS also provides sense of urgency and alertness which is needed for
survival when opposing threatening situation

Negative Stress: It is a contributory factor in minor condition, such as


headaches, digestive problems, skin complaints, insomnia (sleepiness) and
ulcers.(Body damage or ache)

Excessive , prolonged and unrelieved stress can have a harmful effect on


mental, physical and spiritual health.
