WHAT IS SCREEN ???

Screen is one of the tools used in the various chemical industries .

Screening is the material separation process based on differences in
particle size

FUNTION OF SCREEN

Classification product for sale ( size of cement product ,

powder etc )

Prepare product feed (feed) the appropriate size for the next
several processes ( as feed in grindring , crushing )

Prevent the entry of minerals that are not perfect in crushing

(Primary crushing) or oversize to the next processing, so it can
be done again next stage crushing process (secondary
crushing).

Prevent entry into surface undersize.

smaller size than the
size of the holes sieve

STANDARD SIZE

Standard size sieve ( screen ) that could

otherwise be used with mesh or mm
( metric ) .

The definition of mesh is the number of

holes contained in one square inch
( square inch ) ,

FACTORS TO BE CONSIDERED IN
THE SELECTION SCREEN :

Screening is usually done in a dry state for coarse material, can

be optimized up to size 10 in (10 mesh). Whereas normally when
wet sieving for smooth materials in sizes ranging from 20 up to 35
in size.

that are difficult to treat. the
smaller size of 4mesh .

RECIPROCATING SCREEN

Consists of a reciprocating Screens:

Gyratory horizontal moving at the end of
the dariscreen bait perpendicular to the aid
of a rotating shaft in an irregular manner.

Rotation of the shaft of 1000 rev / min. The

twist at the end of the feed materials
quickly spread to the entire transverse
width of the screen surface.
