1.0 INTRODUCTION
There are three main parts of usage patterns (Suradi et al, 2008):
Usage frequency
Usage duration
Usage time
Types of services used by students were education, communication, ecommerce, downloading and entertainment (Suradi et al 2008)
Matthews et al (2003) found that the excessive time spent on the internet
resulting in poor academic performance.
3.0 METHODOLOGY
Questionnaire
20 questions - 4 sections
Background information
Pattern of internet usage
Comments for the proper manner of internet usage
Different question-types ( ranking, yes-no, scales )
Will be piloted to a group of 10 students to access validity
Interview
To confirm the findings from questionnaires
Students and staffs
