Definition
Hearing conservation program is
designed to protect workers with
significant occupational noise
exposures from hearing impairment
even if they are subject to such noise
exposures over their entire working
lifetimes. (OSHA, 2002)

Kendala yang dihadapi :
sulitnya mendiagnosis NIHL sebagai PAK
(penyakit akibat kerja)
adanya pajanan di luar pekerjaan
penyakit lain yang mengganggu fungsi
pendengaran
tidak ada data awal (baseline data)

keengganan menggunakan alat pelindung

Gangguan pendengaran akibat bising dapat bersifat


permanen, dan berlangsung secara menahun

tempat kerja, untuk melindungi pekerja dari kecacatan
akibat kebisingan.
