Vulcan Mayon
Mayon Volcano(Tagalog:Bulkang Mayon,Central Bikol:Bulkan Mayon), also known asMount Mayon, is anactivevolcanoin theprovinceofAlbay, on the island ofLuzonin
thePhilippines. Renowned as the "perfect cone" because of its almostsymmetricconical shape, the mountain was declared anational parkand aprotected landscapeon July 20,
1938, the first in the country. It was reclassified a Natural Park and renamedMayon Volcano Natural Parkin the year 2000.[3]

BanaueRice Terraces
TheBanaueRice Terraces(Filipino:Hagdan-hagdang Palayan ng Banawe) are 2,000-year-oldterracesthat were carved into the mountains ofIfugaoin thePhilippinesby ancestors of the
indigenous people. The Rice Terraces are commonly referred to by Filipinos as the "Eighth Wonder of the World".[1][2][3]It is commonly thought that the terraces were built with minimal equipment,
largely by hand. The terraces are located approximately 1500 metres (5000ft) above sea level. They are fed by an ancientirrigationsystem from the rainforests above the terraces. It is said that
if the steps were put end to end, it would encircle half the globe. [4]
Locals to this day still plant rice and vegetables on the terraces, although more and more younger Ifugaos do not find farming appealing, often opting for the more lucrative hospitality industry
generated by the terraces [citation needed]. The result is the gradual erosion of the characteristic "steps", which need constant reconstruction and care. In 2010, a further problem was drought, with the
terraces drying up completely in March of that year. [5]

San juanico bridges

San Juanico Bridgeis part of thePan-Philippine Highway and stretches fromSamartoLeyteacross theSan Juanico Straitin thePhilippines. Its longest length is a steel girder viaduct built on
reinforced concrete piers, and its main span is of an arch-shapedtruss design. With a total length of 2.16 kilometers (1.34mi),[1]it is the longest bridge in the Philippines spanning a body of seawater.
The bridge was slightly damaged byTyphoon Haiyanin November 2013 but repaired.

Lawa ng taal
Taal Lakeis afreshwater lake in theprovinceofBatangas, on the island ofLuzonin thePhilippines . The lake fills Taal Caldera, a large volcaniccalderaformed by very largeeruptions between
500,000 and 100,000years ago. It is the country's third largest lake afterLaguna de Bay andLake Lanao. Volcano Island, the location ofTaal Volcano's historical eruptions and responsible for the lake's
sulfuric content, lies near the center of the lake. There is acrater lake on Volcano Island, which is the world's largest lake on an island (Volcano Island) in a lake (Taal Lake) on an island ( Luzon). Known
as the Yellow Lake or the Main Crater Lake, [2]it contains its own small island, Vulcan Point.
