Switch setting must match the

controlling EM.

Parity Bit
Placement of Parity Switch:
1. Switch 5 is placed to ON position if there is an ODD
number of EM address-switches in the ON position.
If an address plug is connected to this board, set DIP
switches 1 through 5 to the OFF position.

2. Switch 5 is placed to OFF position if there is an EVEN

number of EM address-switches in the ON position.

If an address plug is NOT connected to this board, set the

DIP switches to match the controlling EM number.

Note : DIP switch should be set to OFF position as the EM address is hard wired in the backplane.
