Each partition has its own MOC (at least one) server at each
redundant site
With the MOC server, multiple sites can be monitored with a
single terminal

displayed, in addition other displays such as Real Time Graphs
can be viewed.

The CSI cluster is displayed and monitored via a MOC Server.

The MOC Server is a processor configured within IN platforms
Server intranet and is assigned with it's own Universal Resource
Locator (URL). After logging into the MOC Server processor, a
"Global Display" window spawns off your browser as a separate
window. This "Global Display" window shows the current real-time
status of your network seen as a matrix of pushbuttons. The
"Global Display" window shows the particular MOC Server name,
Release, Date and Time/Zone Stamp for that particular server in
the title bar region.

Surveillance information on the IN platform server provided to
individual users includes:
Status Summary windows showing the status of each major
component of the monitored site
Alarm Summary windows showing the alarms logged at the
monitored site
Performance windows with real-time graphs and measurement
reports about system utilization

This information is constantly updated and displayed. The user can


retrieve even more detailed information by selecting individual
boxes inside the Alarm Summary, Status Summary and
Performance windows.

The MOC Server allows users to:


monitor system alarm, status, and performance information
respond to alarms
control software running in the monitored site

STATUS SUMMARY
The IN platforms individual site Status Summary screen provides a
graphical display of the node.
It provides the following functions:
Health indication of software process groups
Status indication of signaling interfaces
Condition of feature sets and supported applications
The MOC Server is the primary interface to the Converged
Application Server nodes and is used for maintenance and
surveillance. This Status Summary Screen shows the applications
processes and states of a specific IN partition.

Road Map :
EOL for EMS (MOC) is part of core platform version. Need
