INTRODUCTION

We are going to talk about the topic N.

3 : Teaching the Human Condition by
Edgar Morin ( UNESCO).

The

topic its about how we can teach

the human condition related to the
differents aspects : EMOTIONAL ,
CULTURAL , SOCIAL, PSICOLOGICAL,
INTELLECTUAL AND INDIVIDUAL.

I: ROOTED AND UNROOTED

HUMANITY
There

are both inside and outside nature.

We are connected with the living sphere.

There are four different conditions:

1.- THE COSMIC

CONDITION
We belong to a gigantic universe, created
millions years ago, but we are a small part of
it.

2.- THE PHYSICAL CONDITION

We are the product of the essential components
of a chemical transformation.

3.-THE EARTHLY CONDITION

We belong to Earth, we depend vitally of
the terrestrial biosphere.

4.-THE HUMAN CONDITION

Shows that are a combination between
the wild and the human.

II: THE HUMAN IN

HUMANS
1.-UNIDUALITY
We formed in the same way but everyone in itself
has its individuality and the culture is an
important part of it.

2.- THE BRAIN-MIND-CULTURE LOOP

No brain and no mind , we could not have
culture.

3.-THE REASON-EMOCIONSIMPULSE LOOP

Are the known conflicts between reason and
heart. Rationality is important part in this point.

4.-THE INDIVIDUAL-THE SOCIETYSPECIES LOOP

The humans are the product of the individual
and the society.

III: HUMAN UNITY AND

DIVERSITY
Education to the future must know
that can not educate everyone, in
the same way, because we are
different and diversities in own body.
At this point , we have 5 subtopics.

1.-THE INDIVIDUAL LEVEL

Genetic as are all equal, but at the same
time as we are different person.

2.-THE SOCIAL LEVEL

We have the same form of communication
(speaking) but each one in its particular
form of language.

3.-CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND

INDIVIDUAL PLURALITY
We belong to a culture in general, but
every individual contributes or has an
individual culture.

4.-SAPIENS-DEMENS
Referred to the rational and irrational,
leaving the unique vision of human
beings.

5.-HOMO COMPLEXUS
We have the ability to adopt different
states, either emotional, psychic or
physical. We go from one extreme to
another.

FINAL CONCLUSION
Education must include multiple ways to
teach or cover, from the individual to the
social and historical points, mixed together,
being inseparable.
It should be tailored to each individual's
particular shape, considering all its aspects
(social, psychological, cultural) because we
have different conditions to do whatever
that we need.
