Mango Lassie is made from Mango Pulp and yogurt

PREP TIME: About 12 minutes


NOTES: If making mango lassie slushy, add 2 to
4 tablespoons sugar before freezing; omit
pistachios.
MAKES: About 5 cups; 3 to 4 servings 2 cups
low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup refrigerated mango nectar
2 firm-ripe mangoes (about 3/4 lb. total),
peeled, pitted, and cut into chunks
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 cup ice cubes
Roasted, salted pistachios, coarsely chopped
(optional)In a blender, combine yogurt, mango
nectar, mangoes, and cardamom; whirl on high
speed until smooth, about 1 minute. Add ice and
whirl until pured, about 1 minute longer. Pour
into tall glasses (at least 16-oz. size); sprinkle
with pistachios. Per serving: 172 cal., 8.1% (14
cal.) from fat; 5.9 g protein; 1.6 g fat (1 g sat.);
35 g carbo (0.6 g fiber); 78 mg sodium; 5.7 mg
chol.

The Astronomical Observatory at
Jantar Mantar
A unique structure raised in 1724,
now lies in the heart of Delhi's
commercial centre near
Connaught place. This is the
Jantar Mantar, one of several
astronomical observatories
raised by Maharaja Jai Singh II of
Jaipur.

The Towers of Char Minar in
Hyderabad
This best known landmark of
Hyderabad gets it name from Char
(four) Minar (towers). The
Charminar is a 56 m (185 feet) high
arch, which has four minarets, nice
balconies and a small mosque.
Situated amidst bustling bazaars,
Charminar has beautiful arches and
elegant minarets. It was built in the
year 1591 by Sultan Mohammed
Quli Qutub Shahi to commemorate
the end of the dreaded epidemic
plague.
