1. Mulailah dengan menganalisa teks terlebih dahulu.

Menurut anda teks dengan judul Religion and the


Constitution ini tergolong dalam tipe teks apa?
2. Jangan terpaku pada pola bahasa sumber. Susunan
kalimat dapat diubah jika perlu.
3. Meaning dialihkan secara tepat ke dalam bahasa
sumber dengan memperhatikan pilihan kata
(vocabulary), bentuk kalimat (grammatical forms) dan
laras bahasa (register)
4. Subjek dalam bahasa sumber tidak harus selalu
menjadi subjek dalam bahasa sasaran.

Coherence refers to the linking of ideas in a logical


sequence or order. Cohesion refers to the organization of
sentences and ideas in your essay working together as a
whole within their paragraphs. They hold together
by cohesive devices (transitional words and
expressions).
