PIZZA

Pizza is an oven-baked, flat, round bread typically topped with a tomato

sauce, cheese and various toppings. The modern pizza was invented in
Naples, Italy, and the dish has since become popular in many parts of
the world.
Why teenagers love pizza?

The answer is simple. Pizza tastes so good that one slice is enough to
convince a young child that the existence of a better food is impossible.

CHICKEN NUGGET
A chicken nugget is a chicken product made from either meat slurry or
chicken breasts cut to shape, breaded or battered, then deep-fried or
baked. Fast food restaurants typically fry their nuggets in vegetable oil.
Chicken Nugget Myth vs. Fact
MYTH: Mechanically separated chicken is used to make chicken nuggets.
FACT: Mechanically separated chicken has been used in poultry products since
1969. It is used primarily as an ingredient in frankfurters, lunch meat or other
processed products. It is NOT typically used in chicken nuggets or patties, and it
is not sold directly to consumers.

FRENCH FRIES
French fries are batons of deep-fried potato. North Americans refer to any
elongated pieces of fried potatoes as fries, while in the United Kingdom,
Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand, long, thinly cut slices of fried
potatoes are sometimes called fries to distinguish them from the more
thickly cut strips called chips. French fries are served hot and generally
eaten as an accompaniment with lunch or dinner, or eaten as a snack,
and they are a common fixture of fast food.

HAMBURGERS
A hamburger is a sandwich
consisting of one or more cooked
patties of ground meat (beef,
pork, turkey, chicken, etc.) usually
placed inside a sliced hamburger
bun. Hamburgers are often served
with lettuce, bacon, tomato,

condiments such as mustard,
mayonnaise, ketchup and relish.

BOLOGNESE SAUCE
Bolognese sauce is a meat-based sauce originating from Bologna, Italy. In
the absence of tagliatelle, it can also be used with other broad, flat
pasta shapes, such as pappardelle or fettuccine, or with short tube
shapes, such as rigatoni or penne. Genuine rag alla bolognese is a
complex sauce which involves slow cooking using a variety of
techniques, including sweating, sauting and braising. Ingredients
include a characteristic soffritto of onion, celery and carrot, different
types of minced or finely chopped meat (generally bovine, including
beef, and possibly pork, such as pancetta), wine and a small amount of
tomato concentrate.

HOT DOG
A hot dog is a cooked sausage, traditionally grilled or steamed and served
in a sliced bun as a sandwich. Hot dog variants include the corn dog
dipped in corn batter and deep fried, pigs in blankets wrapped in dough,
baked. The sausages were culturally imported from Germany and
popularized in the United States, where they were a working class street
food sold at hot dog stands that came to be associated with baseball
and America. Hot dog preparation and condiment styles also vary
regionally across the United States.

TORTILLA
A tortilla is a type of thin flatbread made from finely ground wheat flour.
Originally derived from the corn tortilla (tortilla in Spanish means "small
torta", or "small cake"), a bread of maize which predates the arrival of
Europeans to the Americas, the wheat flour tortilla was an innovation
after wheat was brought to the New World from Spain while this region
was the colony of New Spain. It is made with an unleavened, water
based dough, pressed and cooked like corn tortillas.
Tortillas are commonly prepared with meat to make dishes such as tacos,
burritos (a dish originating in northern Mexico), and enchiladas.
Tortillas are also used to make baleadas, a typical dish from Honduras.
