Over 90% of the people that

answered the questionnaire are
between 16 and 20, showing
that that is the same age range
as my target audience.

How often do you buy music

magazines?
The answer to this question
if fairly even. Most of the
people buy music
magazine rarely, although
its only the most because
of 1 person.

The rest of the results are quite even,

with sometimes and rarely both at
22.58% each, often at 16.13% and
every week and 12.9%

Who is your favourite band?

I asked this question to see

what sort of band my target
audience would like to see in
my magazine. The majority of
the bands are rock bands
which is what will be featured.

What 3 colours would you

associate with rock music?
I asked this question to get
an idea of what colours my
magazine should be. Its a
rock magazine so the
colours have to be linked to
the genre in some way, so
finding out from the readers
what colours they associate
with rock will be a good
indication of what colour to
have my magazine.
The majority have said black,
with purple and red coming second,
so they're the colours my magazine
is going to be

what peoples opinion was on
modern chart music to see if I
should incorporate some
elements of it into my magazine

The majority of people said

awful or bearable, indicating
that generally people that
would read my magazine
dont like modern chart music

What is your favourite genre

of music?
I asked this question to see
what other sorts of music my
target audience would like
other than rock.

Most people said either

rock, metal or indie,
therefore I'm not going to
vary the genres of music
too much in my magazine

associate with rock music?
I asked this question to see what
sort of words people associated
with rock music

Generally people have said

things like loud, meaningful and
awesome. These are the sort of
words that I am going to use in
my articles because people
obviously associate these with
rock.

How many pages would you

expect a music magazine to
be?
I asked this question to get an
idea of how many pages my target
audience expect a music magazine
to be

I am going to have
between 40 and 50 as
thats what the majority of
the people said

What would interest you to

buy a music magazine?
I asked this question
to see what sort of
things would make
someone buy my
magazine
Most people said things like a
good front cover, good content
with bands people like, and good
stories that will interest people. I
am going to try to include things
that will catch people eye to
make them hopefully buy it.
