will easily understand the whole report. Abstract must be in 150-180
words. And you will cover the whole issues mentioned below;

» From where you collected the data
» And What is the result
Introduction
• The subject will cover in “Introduction”

• Definition of the topic----What is NGO’s?

• The brief history of the topic----when NGO’s started their
activities in Bangladesh?
• The objective of the topic----what is the motto of NGO’s?
• The activities of the topic----what basically NGO’s are doing?

• Under this Heading you will briefly write down;

• Very briefly history of Bangladesh------Birth, economic

status, education status, economic growth, GDP

NGO’s are operating in Bangladesh, what is their contribution
in economy, how they help the poor people, are they doing
good? Etc.

Literature Review
• “Literature Review” means previous research works and the
findings of their works. For example; Dr. Wahid-Uddin
Mahmood wrote a book on the same topic that you are
working. So what he says about the topic? What are the
findings of his book?

• You have to search the related research works

(book/journals) as much as you can and mention in your
report.

• How to write “Literature Review”? For example;

Mahmood U. W. (2009) finds in his study that NGOS’s are not highly contributing to
alleviate the poverty rather he has found that most of the family were broken because of
NGO’s activities. He also found that the suicide rate among the village people increased
10% compare to year 2008.
Conceptual Framework

• “Conceptual Framework or Methodology” means which

method you are following to conduct your research. If you
are just reviewing the previous works then you can write
“based on the previous literature”, if you speak to NGO
and collect the data that what is scenario of one particular
village before their presence and what is the scenario of
that village at present time. So you can write that
interviewing the NGO personnel and collect the data
(mentioned the year, like 2001-2009), village name,
NGO’s name, the interviewee’s name) and compared the
data.
Result Analysis
• What did you find after analysing the data. Never
write it’s good or bad. Just mention after
analysing the data researcher find
that………………”
Concluding Remarks

• Your conclusion. What you have found after

doing this study. If NGO’s are not alleviate the
poverty then write it, if they are alleviate then
mention it. Your ultimate findings.
