1945 - Flew to New York to complete his
professional education & did his practice
in Suburban Detroit, Michigan.
Became the chief of design at Smith Hinchman
& Gryllis company in Detroit,Michigan.
1949 - Established a company along with
George Hellmuth and Joseph Leinweber .
1953-1955 - Designed the Missouris
St.Louis Airport uses huge concrete
shell vaults for dramatic interior
effects.
1959-split up
with his
business
partner.
Also did the
design for IBM
building.
1965 -Designed the Woodrow Wilson
Building in New Jersey, with Gothic
Arches in almost every corner & the
exterior screened by rows of tapered
columns.

CONSTRUCTION
Made up of a central core, a
perimeter and the framework,
which acts as a diaphragm,
staying the pillars of both
Core is a metal structure
Perimeter is in the form of a
concrete wall
Frame is made of self-
supporting sheet metal and
concrete made with light arlite
aggregates
ARCHITECTURE
wide entrance arch, supporting the whole faade over it & has a steel
structure under the ground level to support it.
The gap under this arch is covered by a special security glass named
STADIP (the one used in Torre Agbar in Barcelona).
