The Response of CFC ANCOP


RELIEF OPERATIONS Soon after the
unexpected devastation by typhoon Pablo,
CFC & ANCOP responded to the needs of
severely affected areas of Compostela
Valley, Davao Oriental & Surigao Del Sur.

Relief goods were distributed which
included foods, rice, clothing & medicines.
Lifesaver emergency water filtration
jerrycans and materials for temporary
shelter were provided

MEDICAL & SURGICAL MISSION - In Dec.15
16, 2012, CFC ANCOP sponsored and
dispatched an medical emergency team to
Compostela Valley & Davao Oriental

Led by Dr. Joe Yamamoto (Cardiothoracic
surgeon), two of the Gkare board members
Dr. Bernie Cueto (Surgeon) and Dr. Elmer
Garcia (Pulmonologist) with Dr. Kirstin Yap
(Cardiology Fellow from UST hospital)
provided medical & surgical care.
CFC Doctors from Manila were
joined by CFC Doctors Mike and
Dana Calimbas of Davao City,
together with SFC Doctors, Nurses
and health professionals.

A total of 400 patients were treated
during the medical mission.
