Fibonacci Sequence in the Phi Spiral Dewayne Broussard, December 2009

Here is a graphic representation of how the Fibonacci


sequence is related to the Phi ratio. The spiral is a Phi spiral
increasing by Фn where n is the number of revolutions. The circles
are in the diameters of the Fibonacci sequence and tangent to the
spiral As the ratio between the two successive number in the series

become closer to Phi the more they become aligned on a ray
emanating from the center.

The chart below shows this relation can be applied to any number
and even by subtraction. 13
