ABSTRACT (Objective)
To increase an electric car efficiency.
Here we are mainly concentrating on converting the
waste energy into considerable electric energy.
instead of friction energy used to apply brakes,
backforce of dynamo can be used.

INTRODUCTION(Literature review)

Whenever brakes will be applied a shaft will come in
contact with the axel and transfer the energy to a
gear system which increases its RPM which is further
connected to a flywheel. This flywheel is connected
to a dynamo. Due to rotation dynamo will produce
electricity and it applies some backward force which
will be used to stop the vehicle.
The electricity produced by the dynamo can be used
to charge a battery.

WORK DONE SO FAR (Review 1)

The initial step is to design the car and to collect all
the parts accordingly.
Car design is completed.
We have purchased chassis and wire.
The second step is to get appropriate gear and
flywheel.
Review 2

Had purchased appropriate gears.
We had designed the model of our moving shaft.
The shaft is designed in such a way so that the disc,
attached to it help the shaft to rotate and it can move
to and fro in perpendicular direction.
The assembly is shown n the next slide.
We had purchased axel, gears, chassis, dynamo.

Review 3
The electricity is produced when brakes are applied.
The electricity produced can enlighten around
enough LEDs at a time at only 80-100 RPM.
At 200 RPM of disc rotation 12V of potential
difference is obtained.
The backforce on dynamo depends upon the
resistance connected to the dynamo.
15 LEDs are connected in parallel.

WORKING (SHAFT)
Force is applied on the bearing
Bearing is fixed with the shaft, connected to the disc
When bearing moves disc will move and comes in
contact with the disc 2
Energy is transferred to the dynamo.
Spring will help it in disengaging the disc1 with
disc2.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Dynamo is producing electricity after considerable
RPM which can be used to charge the battery.
When brakes are applied the electricity is produced .
Spring will pull the disc when brakes are released
and conversion of energy will stop.
The electricity produced by the dynamo is used t
charge the battery.
The battery is recharged thus the efficiency of an
electric car get increased.

ADVANCED MECHANISM
We can apply ABS system and automatic gear box in it.
The automatic gear system will change the gears according to
the torque supplied by the disc and its RPM.
If the person will apply full brakes the flywheel will apply
enough inertia so that the car will stop suddenly but at the
same time ABS system will decrease the friction between the
disc 1 and disc 2 so that the wheel will not slip on the road.
The gear box will engage the gear according to the RPM at
which the disc will rotate.
With both of these technologies we need to have friction
brakes too so that they will stop the car if the electric braking
system not works.
Result
The cost of the apparatus is quite low so it can be
attached in any car or vehicle.
Efficiency of an electric car can be increased upto
30%.
Waste heat energy is used.
Efficiency can also be used by attaching automatic
gears after the pulley.

CONCLUSION
The electricity produced can be used to charge the
battery of the car and it can be reused. The efficiency
of an electric car is increased considerably.
