HEC-HMS

AN INTRODUCTION

Model Hidrologi
Model hidrologi merupakan sebuah sajian sederhana dari sebuah sistem
hidrologi (lihat Gambar 1) pada suatu daerah aliran sungai (DAS).
Model tersebut bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tanggapan suatu DAS
terhadap proses hidrologi yang terjadi jika diberi masukan-masukan tertentu
HEC-HMS merupakan model model hidrologi yang dapat digunakan untuk
mengalihragamkan hujan menjadi aliran baik event flow maupun continuous
flow atau disebut juga model hujan-debit(Hydrologic Engineering Center-
Hydrologic Modeling System, US Army Corps of Engineers, 2000)
Komponen HEC-HMS
Basin model : Deskripsi fisik dari Daerah Aliran Sungai.
Subbasin: watershed catchments where rain falls.
Reach: rivers and streams.
Reservoir: dams and lakes.
Junction: confluence.
Diversion: bifurcations and withdrawals.
Source: springs and other model sinks.
Sink: outlets and terminal lakes.
Meteorologic model : Model Cuaca.
Precipitation.
Potential evapotranspiration.
Snowmelt.
Control specifications: Time control selama simulasi.
