Kurubas who are concentrated in the districts of Mysore,
Chamarajnagar and Kodagu are classified as primitive
tribes.
There are 50 identified STs groups in Karnataka.
The various tribes found in Karnataka include-the
Todas, the Jenu Kurubas, the Kadu Kurubas etc.
