National Service Training Program
CIVIC WELFARE TRAINING SERVICE
Intended Learning Outcomes
At the end of the session the students are expected to :
Know the importance of 5S Housekeeping and Sanitation
Program
Apply 5S program in their daily-life routine
Understand the proper way of computing grades
Inculcate the TIP Graduate Attributes
Familiarize with the TIP Hymn and TIP March
Explain the meaning and objectives of NSTP
Recognize the Scope of NSTP
Identify the components of NSTP

NATIONAL SERVICE TRAINING
PROGRAM (NSTP)
Refers to the program aimed at enhancing
civic consciousness and defense
preparedness among youth by developing
the ethics of service and patriotism while
undergoing training in any of its three (3)
components
Three Components of NSTP
1. Civic Welfare Training Service
2. Military Training Service or the Reserve
Officers Training Corps
3. Literacy Training Service
Civic Welfare Training Service
Refers to activities contributory to the
general welfare and the betterment of
life for the members of the community
or the enhancement of its facilities.
CWTS VISION
To produce valuable and effective
members of the National Service Corps
who may serve as leaders and
intermediaries in securing a quality life,
maintaining peace, harmony and growth
to Filipino communities.
CWTS MISSION
Strengthening the values and traits of the
youth

Improving the students skills and
knowledge on various endeavors

Developing the students interest in
community service
CWTS OBJECTIVES
to develop and promote civic consciousness,
enhance the intellectual, physical, moral,
spiritual and social being of the youth.

patriotism and nationalism, and advance
their involvement in public and civic affairs.

inculcate respect for the rights of
civilians and adherence to the

In the year 2020. TIP envisions itself to be a
leading professional technological
institution though outcomes-based
education, and a culture of innovation and

The Technological Institute of the Philippines is committed
to continue to empower the Filipino youth through
