in political science.
Graduated from Harvard University with Master of Business
Administration Degree in 1964.
Married and have 2 daughters and a son.

First entrepreneurial initiave was venturing into oil trading.
Set up Exoil Trading that procures oil drilling conrtacts in various
countries.
Founded Usaha Tegas Sdn Bhd in 1984. Its principle investments
includes telecommunications, media, property, and oil & gas.
In 1991, Ananda Krishnan took over Malaysian Horse Race Industry.
Usaha Tegas take over one-third of equity in PowerTek Company.
Ananda Krishnans Multimedia Career
Owns biggest mobile company, Maxis with total of 70 % shares.
Owns the Astro All Asia Network, the only satellite TV in Malaysia.
Owns Multipleks Theaters TGV Cinemas.
Owns a part of TVB.com, an interactive branch of Hong Kongs
major broadcaster.
Launched Malaysias first communication satellite ( MEASAT).
