Introduction
Wireless control devices are gaining enormous
applications in robotics .
developing a mobile controlled spy robot.
The robot is in the form of a vehicle mounted with a
camera, which acquires and sends video to a PC.
using GSM and RF technology.

RF wireless information can work only for smaller distance

Objective

The main aim of the project is to capture images from
dangerous areas and highly terrain areas where human
access is not feasible.

SPY-ROBOT works on the following principle:

It uses the modulation technique using RF module
operating frequency of 433.95Mhz.
Principle
The RF transmitter acts as a RF remote control
that has the advantage of adequate range (up to
200 meters).

RF has limited working range, limited frequency range and the
limited control.

Use of a mobile phone for robotic control can overcome these
limitations.

It provides the advantage of robust control, working range as
large as the coverage area of the service provider.

Working
It is operated by a mobile phone which generates the DTMF code
and is transmitted through the GSM network.
utilizes GSM and DTMF coding technology for controlling the
remote ROBOTIC vehicle movement.

DTMF commands from a phone send to another cell phone which
is mounted on the robotic vehicle

These DTMF codes are received by another mobile phone at the
receiver end and is decoded and processed by a microcontroller
based DTMF decoder and control system.

The RF transmitter acts as a RF remote control that has the
advantage of adequate range (up to 200 meters).
At the receiving end two motors are interfaced to the
microcontroller where they are used for the movement of the
vehicle.
The remote vehicle can be operated at any
distance where GSM network is available.

The entire receiver section works by 12V rechargeable battery.

Any GSM mobile phones can be used with this project.

The vehicle can be remotely operated forward/reverse and left /
right.

The camera has a receiver, which is placed in the remote
station.

Its output signals are in the form of audio and video.
