pana me tva, ppima, passasi ya ma tva
eva vadesi kretu, bhante, bhagav rajja,
kretu sugato, rajja ahana aghtaya ajina

Bhagavat kho, bhante, cattro iddhipd bhvit
bahulkat ynkat vatthukat anuhit paricit

Rajja Sutta
Pabbatassa suvaassa, jtarpassa kevalo;
Dvittva nlamekassa, iti vidv samacare.
Yo dukkhamaddakkhi yatonidna,
Kmesu so jantu katha nameyya;
Upadhi viditv sagoti loke,
Tasseva jantu vinayya sikkheti.

Rattapala Sutta
no loko atitto tahdsoti bhava rahaplo ha. Imassa,

bho rahapla, phta kuru ajjhvasmti. Ta ki
maasi, mahrja, idha puriso gaccheyya puratthimya
disya saddhyiko paccayiko. So ta upasakamitv eva
vadeyya yagghe, mahrja, jneyysi, aha gacchmi
puratthimya disya? Tatthaddasa mahanta janapada
iddhaceva phtaca bahujana kiamanussa. Bah
tattha hatthiky assaky rathaky pattiky; bahu tattha
dhanadhaa [dantjina (s. sy. ka. p.)]; bahu tattha
hiraasuvaa akataceva kataca; bahu tattha
itthipariggaho. Sakk ca tvatakeneva balamattena
[balatthena (s. sy. ka. p.), bahalatthena (ka.)]
abhivijinitu. Abhivijina, mahrjti, kinti na kareyysti?
Tampi maya, bho rahapla, abhivijiya ajjhvaseyymti.

Passmi loke sadhane manusse,
Laddhna vitta na dadanti moh;
Luddh dhana sannicaya karonti,
Bhiyyova kme abhipatthayanti.

Rj pasayh pathavi vijitv,
Sasgaranta mahimvasanto ;
Ora samuddassa atittarpo,
Pra samuddassapi patthayetha.

the satisfaction and contentment

Both poor and rich people do not satisfy
Satisfaction is the penultimate wealth
Conclusion
Buddhism maintain that, increasing your
wants is not the essence of civilaization but
the purifying your conduct.
While Buddhism encourage people to achieve
the maximum satisfaction through a minimum
consumption economics believe that one who
consume more have the esteem of
satisfaction.
