Abortion

is the termination of pregnancy by the removal or

expulsion from the uterus of
a fetus or embryo prior to viability . An abortion
can occur spontaneously, in which case it is
usually called a miscarriage, or it can be
purposely induced. The term abortion most
commonly refers to the induced abortion of a
human pregnancy.

Teen Marriage
is typically defined as the union
of two adolescents, joined in
marriage from the age range of
1319 years old. Many factors
contribute to teen marriage
such as love, teen pregnancy,
religion, security, family
and peer pressure, arranged
marriage, economic and
political reasons, social
advancement, and cultural
reasons. Studies have shown
that teenage married couples
are often less advantageous,
may come from broken homes,
may have little education and
work low status jobs in
comparison to those that marry
after adolescence.

is a broad term for problems with alcohol, and is
generally used to mean compulsive and uncontrolled
consumption of alcoholic beverages, usually to the
detriment of the drinker's health, personal
relationships, and social standing. It is medically
considered a disease, specifically an addictive
illness, and in psychiatry several other terms are
used, specifically "alcohol abuse" and "alcohol
dependence," which have slightly different
definitions.

Substance Abuse
also known as drug abuse, is a patterned use of a
substance (drug) in which the user consumes the
substance in amounts or with methods which are
harmful to themselves or others.

The term "drug abuse" does not exclude
dependency, but is otherwise used in a similar
manner in nonmedical contexts. The terms have
a huge range of definitions related to taking
a psychoactive drug or performance enhancing
drug for a non-therapeutic or non-medical
effect.

All of these definitions imply a negative judgment of the
drug use in question (compare with the term responsible
drug use for alternative views). Some of the drugs most
often associated with this term
include alcohol,amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiaze
pines (particularly alprazolam, temazepam, diazepam an
d clonazepam), cocaine, methaqualone, and opioids. Use
of these drugs may lead to criminal penalty in addition
to possible physical, social, and psychological harm,
both strongly depending on local jurisdiction.
There are many cases in which criminal or antisocial
behavior occur when the person is under the influence of
a drug. Long term personality changes in individuals
may occur as well.Other definitions of drug abuse fall
into four main categories: public health definitions, mass
communication and vernacular usage, medical
definitions, and political and criminal justice definitions.
Substance abuse is prevalent with an estimated 120
million users of hard drugs such as cocaine, heroin, and
other synthetic drugs.

is the state of one who lacks a certain amount of
material possessions or money. Absolute
poverty or destitution refers to the deprivation
of basic human needs, which commonly includes
food, water, sanitation, clothing, shelter, health care
and education. Relative poverty is defined contextually
as economic inequality in the location or society in
which people live.

is the business or practice of engaging in sexual
relations, especially in a promiscuous way, in exchange
for payment in money or other things of value. The
person who engages in such sexual relations is called
a prostitute and is a kind of sex worker. Prostitution is
one of the branches of the sex industry. The legal
status of prostitution varies from country to country,
from being permissible but unregulated, to a
punishable crime or to a regulated profession.
Estimates place the annual revenue generated from
the global prostitution industry to be over $100 billion.
Prostitution is sometimes referred to as "the world's
oldest profession".

Child labour
refers to the employment of children in any work that
deprives children of their childhood, interferes with
their ability to attend regular school, and that is
mentally, physically, socially or morally dangerous and
harmful. This practice is considered exploitative by
many international organisations. Legislations across
the world prohibit child labour. These laws do not
consider all work by children as child labour;
exceptions include work by child artists, supervised
training, certain categories of work such as those
by Amish children, and others.

describes the condition of people without a
regular dwelling. People who are homeless are most often
unable to acquire and maintain regular, safe, secure, and
adequate housing, or lack "fixed, regular, and adequate
night-time residence."The legal definition of "homeless"
varies from country to country, or among different entities
or institutions in the same country or region. The
term homeless may also include people whose primary
night-time residence is in a homeless shelter, a warming
center, a domestic violence shelter, cardboard boxes or
other ad hoc housing situations. American Government
homeless enumeration studies also include persons who
sleep in a public or private place not designed for use as a
regular sleeping accommodation for human beings.

work and actively seeking work. The unemployment
rate is a measure of the prevalence of unemployment
and it is calculated as a percentage by dividing the
number of unemployed individuals by all individuals
currently in the labor force. During periods of
recession, an economy usually experiences a relatively
high unemployment rate.According to International
Labour Organization report, more than 197 million
people globally are out of work or 6% of the world's
workforce were without a job in 2012.

are the rights and entitlements claimed for women
and girls of many societies worldwide.

In some places these rights are institutionalized or supported
by law, local custom, and behaviour, whereas in others they
may be ignored or suppressed. They differ from broader
notions of human rights through claims of an inherent
historical and traditional bias against the exercise of rights by
women and girls in favour of men and boys.
