most of the last quarter of this century, we are stunned and have been experiencing a great deal of confusion in the area of utilising technology effectively.
Peru, with not so much promising results.
In Korea the technological integration into the educational program was encouraged and then drastically reduced as it failed to generate adequate nation-wide support. Harlem Village If you had an amazing teacher who was talented and passionate and given the freedom and support to teach well, that was just 100 times more important than anything else. Bill Gates: after 5 billion dollar of adventure he seems to be convinced that money is not the solution for educational achievement or success either.
The most powerful element in education is the teacher. Nothing will ever compete with that."
EDUCATION THROUGH LOVE Teachers are regarded as Nation Builders
EDUCATION THROUGH LOVE main propeller of education who bring advancement and prosperity.
EDUCATION THROUGH LOVE Important Factors In The Education Of The Child Education starts in the mothers womb. The school becomes a second home for the children and the teacher a second parent for the child. EDUCATION THROUGH LOVE Love and Compassion on a Personal Level We need to make sure that the children do not feel neglected or ignored. Children will understand the attention and soon become responsive with positive attitude. EDUCATION THROUGH LOVE
The name of the story is; Mrs Thompson and Teddy Stoddard
THE BEST TEACHER This is the story of an elementary school teacher who taught many years ago. Her name was Mrs. Thompson. And as she stood in front of her year 5 class on the very first day of school, she told the children a lie. verimli ders alma 15 Like most teachers, she looked at her students and said that she loved them all the same. But that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard. Mrs. Thompson had watched Teddy the year before and noticed that he didnt play well with the other children, that his clothes were messy and that he constantly needed a bath. verimli ders alma 17 And Teddy Could be unpleasant. It got to the point where Mrs. Thompson would actually take delight in marking his papers with a broad red pen, making bold Xs and then putting a big F at the top of his papers. verimli ders alma 18 At the school where Mrs. Thompson taught, she was required to review each childs past records and she put Teddys off until last. However, when she reviewed his file, she was in for a surprise. Teddys Yr 1 teacher wrote, Teddy is a bright child with a ready laugh. He does his work neatly and has good manners he is a joy to be around. verimli ders alma 20 His Yr 2 teacher wrote, Teddy is an excellent student, well liked by his classmates, but he is troubled because his mother has a terminal illness and life at home must be a struggle. verimli ders alma 21 His Yr 3 teacher wrote, His mothers death has been hard on him. He tries to do his best but his father doesnt show much interest and his home life will soon affect him if some steps arent taken. verimli ders alma 22 Teddys Yr 4 teacher wrote, Teddy is withdrawn and doesnt show much interest in school. He doesnt have many friends and sometimes he sleeps in class. By now, Mrs. Thompson realized the problem and she was ashamed of herself. verimli ders alma 24 She felt even worse when her students brought her Christmas presents, wrapped in beautiful ribbons and bright paper... verimli ders alma 25 except for Teddys. His present which was clumsily wrapped in the heavy, brown paper that he got from a grocery bag. Mrs. Thompson took pains to open it in the middle of the other presents. verimli ders alma 26 Some of the children started to laugh when she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stones are missing, and a bottle that was one quarter full of perfume. verimli ders alma 27 But she stifled the childrens laughter when she claimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on her wrist. Teddy Stoddard stayed after school that day just long enough to say, Mrs. Thompson, today you smelled just like my Mom used to. After the children left she cried for at least an hour. On that very day, she quit teaching reading, writing, and math. Instead, She began to educate children verimli ders alma 30 Mrs Thompson paid particular attention to Teddy. As she worked with him, his mind seemed to become alive. The more she encouraged him, the faster he responded. verimli ders alma 31 By the end of the year, Teddy had become one of the smartest children in the class and, despite her lie that she would love all the children the same, Teddy became one of her teachers pets. A year later she found a note under her door, from Teddy, telling her that, she was the best teacher he ever had in his whole life. Six years went by before she got another note from Teddy. He than wrote that he had finished high school, 3rd in his class, she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life. Four years after that, she got another letter, saying that while things had been tough at times, hed stayed in school, had stuck with it, and would soon graduate from university. And he assured she was the best teacher ever he had in his whole life. Then four years passed and yet another letter came This time he explained that after he got his bachelors degree, he decieded to go a little further. The letter explained that she was still the best and favourite teacher he ever had. But now his name was a little longer. the letter was signed, Theodore F. Stoddard, MD. The story doesnt end there.you see there was yet another letter that spring. Teddy said he had met that girl and was going to be married. He explained that his father had died a couple of years ago and he was wondering he Mrs. Thompson might agree to sit in the place at the wedding that was usually reserved for the mother of the groom. Of course Mrs. Thomson did. 37 And guess what? she wore that bracelet, the one with several rhinestones missing and she made sure she was wearing the perfume that Teddy remembered his mother wearing on their last Christmas together. 38 They hugged each, and Dr. Stoddard whispered in her ear, Thank you Mrs. Thompson for believing in me. Thank you so much making me feel important and showing me that I could make a difference. verimli ders alma 39 Mrs. Thompson, with tears in her eyes, whispered back. Teddy, you were the one who taught me that I could make a difference. I didnt know how to teach until I met you. Manifestation of Love and Compassion; Representation and Trust but, if it is not complemented with exemplary behaviour, the effect will slowly fade off and result in poor education.
41 EDUCATION THROUGH LOVE Make offerings to your children and raise them with best of manners By paying attention to their thoughts and feelings, upholding promises and assigning them responsibilities, we can establish a platform of mutual trust and the right environment for an affective education.
43 EDUCATION THROUGH LOVE Actions speak louder than words
Hizmet Schools What are the program elements of these schools? What makes them so versatile? How do they instil their values to students?
Hizmet Schools We believe that if the students must fear something; it should be a fear of the loss of their teachers compassion rather than physical punishment, threats or pain.

Why Values? Values bring quality and meaning to life
Values give a person his identity and character
Values act as guidelines. They tell him what he should and should not do
They makes us realize that WHAT WE ARE is more important than WHAT WE HAVE
Why Values? Educating in Values or Values education helps in developing: Character Good condact Moral integrity Self Discipline Compassion Love for all living beings Responsibility
And many other positive qualities in the students.
And above all It makes them feel better about them selves.
Why Values? Doing everything in the remembrance (for the approval) of God so that anything we do has a thought of divinity attached to it.
This motivates us to keep the highest goals in all aspects of living and prevents us at all times from doing anything wrong.
Therefore it is necessary that our students are educated in spiritual values.
And . As time goes on,
It becomes a second nature to them to be disciplined, punctual, cooperating etc
Their academic performance goes up.
And they are able to spend more time on learning.
Where can we put them in the curriculum? Educating in Values or Values education helps in developing: Students are not born with a set of values.
Students unconsciously pick up all kinds of values from their parents, teachers, peers, all the time. So, in a sense, values are more Caught than Taught.
Still, they do need guidance to help them learn the right values
It is not a one man job.
Welfare Teachers Approach: teaching with love Love is first above all. Love is the core value. It leads to understanding, sympathy, empathy, consideration, care, sacrifice etc. A teacher who approaches any subject with love, wins over the hearts of his students. Love is the catalyst which grooms them in to a complete human being. WELFARE TEACHER helps the students achieve their full potential and bring out the best in them. Leads them towards a better tomorrow. Most important of all MUST BE LOVING and SINCERE!
Yes, it is a tall order but it is Big Responsibility too. A TEACHER is and can be HERO of the STUDENTS It is said that An excellent teacher INSPIRES. A good teacher EXPLAINS. An average teacher TEACHES. A bad teacher COMPLAINS!
