This approach is to be
preferred for two main
reasons:
1. It attracts students to poetry
When a child understands the idea of a
poem and finds it interesting and
meaningful to him, then he can truly
appreciate and enjoy it

2. This method teaches students to
become active readers
Students are able to analyze the poem
from different angles and different
layers
The message makes pupils aware of
rhythm, rhymes, and other aesthetic
components
It stimulates creativity and imagination

such as reading, writing, listening and of

develops language and the ability to
study poetry

In the experience of writing a poem,
the student recruits his knowledge and
his feelings to create something new of
his own. That way he is able to integrate
his own writing with his reading

There are many ways to convey a poem, such
as music, drama, singing and other creative
