Sri Devraj URS Medical College was started in the year 1986 in Tamaka,
Kolar. The college was established with an objective to provide need
based infrastructure, facilities and highly qualified faculty for students to
become medical professionals.

Sri Devraj Urs Medical College is a constituent college of Sri
Devraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research is
under the aegis of Sri Devraj Urs Educational Trust for
Backward Classes, Kolar. The college is recognized by the
Medical Council of India (MCI).

Eligibility Criteria

For admission to Medical you have to be completed the age of 17 years as
on 31st December of the year of the admission.

Educational Qualification

A candidate must have passed two year PUC examination conducted by
the PUC Board of Karnataka State with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and
Mathematics as optional subjects
A candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in the PCB group and
40% in the case of SC / ST / Category-1.
Indian Candidates: The students must qualify in AIET.

Among the total number of seats available, 40% seats will be filled by
the AIET results, 40% seats will be filled by the KCET results and 20%
seats will be filled up under Management/NRI quota.

Foreign students desiring admission should produce:
No Objection Certificate from the Department of Health & Family
Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi.
An eligibility Certificate from the Sri Devaraj Urs University, Kolar.
Student Visa.
Residential Certificate.
