Leadership

THE PROCESS
Do you SEE yourself a leadership.
Sow a thought, reap an action; sow an
action, reap a habit; sow a habit, reap a
character; sow a character, reap a destiny.
Steven Covey

God has His ways of developing a leader.
That development is a PROCESS
To understand the process, which is principle
based, helps you RESPOND properly.
Your destiny is not something given to you, it is
already locked inside you. When you meet Jesus,
He activates the destiny already in you!
BIRTH----DEATH----SUPERNATURAL FULLFILMENT

Your destiny has a manifold aspect, everything
you do, each test, every trial, every position
UNFOLDS another aspect and increases your
potential to meet Gods invitation to partner
with HIM!
God tests your INTEGRITY before every
promotion.
You can cut corners but I dont recommend it. Later it
will become evident.
Look at Jesus formation. 30 years for 3 years
And He said to them, Why did you seek Me? Did you not
know that I must be about My Fathers business? But
they did not understand the statement which He spoke to
them. Then He went down with them and came to
Nazareth, and was subject to them, but His mother kept all
these things in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom
and stature, and in favor with God and men. Luke 2: 49-52

If you know God will be preparing you over a
lifetime, you will most likely stay for the
WHOLE ride.
Therefore, failures can be as important as
victories, because we are not playing for just
short term wins but long term victory!
The purpose of studying LEADERSHIP is to:
Know what God is doing
Find your place in what God is doing
Become the man/woman you must BE in order to
walk in your destiny(true ministry is born out of
who you are rather than what you do)
Two failures: Peter and Judas

John 12
Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to
Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been
dead,[a] whom He had raised from the dead. 2
There they made Him a supper; and Martha
served, but Lazarus was one of those who sat at
the table with Him. 3 Then Mary took a pound of
very costly oil of spikenard, anointed the feet of
Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the
house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
But one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simons son,
who would betray Him, said, 5 Why was this fragrant
oil not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the
poor? 6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor,
but because he was a thief, and had the money box;
and he used to take what was put in it. But Jesus said,
Let her alone; she has kept this for the day of My
burial. 8 For the poor you have with you always, but
Me you do not have always.

He wasnt born a thief, he BECAME one.
Judas failed to go deep and he failed then going
wide.
Peter failed too, but it caused him to go deep and
therefore he went wide!
Our call is to DEEPEN the message, Gods
responsibility to widen the ministry.
The deeper the message, the clearer the BIG
picture
The better the BIG picture the less likely we
will hastily form conclusions and make
decisions that are not compatible with LONG-
RANGE development.
5 Development Phases
Phase 1: Sovereign foundations
Phase 2: Inner-life growth
Phase 3: Ministry maturing
Phase 4: Life maturing
Phase 5: Convergence
