What is a Retrograde planet?
Simply put, a retrograde
planet is one which
appears to be moving
backwards in the sky.
The appearance of
backward movement is
due to the relative
position and speed of
movement of the earth
in comparison to the
planet in question.

In several branches of astrology, when a planet
goes retrograde we are advised against doing
activities that planet governs over as its energies
become chaotic and unpredictable.
In reality, when a planet goes into retrograde
motion, WE become responsible for directing the
flow of energy in whatever area of our life is
affected. Retrograde periods are in essence a test
of our personal mastery over that planets energy
and that mastery (or lack of) will show up in the

forming a cross in the sky.
The 4 planets are: Mars in Libra, Jupiter in Cancer,
Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn.
This Cardinal Cross brings us to a threshold in our
personal evolution (individually and collectively).
We are faced with a desire for personal and societal
change but we question our place, our method and our
ability to create that change.

however Uranus is Aries is the spearhead that begins ushering in
that change.
