CLAY ANDERSON
Clay Anderson is a motivational speaker, master of ceremonies, and guest host for
special events across the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. He speaks to more than
300 students each year, and participates in a mentoring program at PEPCO, the electric
energy utility company. At PEPCO, he currently serves as a Sr. Media Representative in
the Media Relations and Communications Department where he works with the
executive leadership team, and meets with community groups in the regional area.
Anderson draws upon both his military and media background to bring inspiring and
humorous words to audiences, both young and old. From forecasting weather for Air
Force One, and delivering news about Katrina to being a part of the weekend anchor
team in a top 10 market at the #1 station, Clay Anderson brings a wealth of information
to all the audiences he addresses.

Television and radio experience includes more than a decade of service in
increasingly larger markets:
WKEF-TV, Dayton, OH 1997 - 1999
WJLA-TV, Washington, DC 2006 -- 2007
The local NBC affiliate in Dayton, Ohio, a Sinclair Broadcasting company.
• Meteorologist for the local affiliate of ABC; Channels 7 and 8 covering the WKEF-TV is a top-50 market.

WRC-TV, Washington 1999 – 2006 • Authority for all weather forecasting in the 13 county area of west central,
Ohio.
The local affiliate of NBC, a General Electric Corporation company. NBC-4 is a
top-10 market. WRC-TV is the number one news station in the market. •Lead forecast authority for all significant weather. Manager and director of
four-member weather team, including technical and meteorological training.
