The new version of the seven wonders of the world have been elected by more than 100 million votes from all over the world in 7-7-2007.

It is the most famous temple city of the Mayas. It is located in the state of yucatan just 75 miles from merida. Each of its four sides has 91 stepsone step for each day of the year, with the 365th day represented by the platform on the top. symbolizes Worship & Knowledge!

Chichen Itza is one of the most visited archaeological sites in Mexico. It is estimated 1.2 million tourists visit the ruins every year. Some of the most famous buildings in Chichen Itza that have survived include: The Warrior's Temple, El Castillo, and The Great Ball Court. The people of Chichen Itza built strong allies with regional tribes and this helped them thrive for two centuries.

The colosseums original latin name was flavian amphitheatre. It was constructed by emperors of flavian dynasty. Construction began in 70 AD and was completed in 80 AD. It has about 80 entrances and can accommodate 50,000 spectators. It is a symbol of Joy & Suffering!

In 847, the southern side of the Colosseum collapsed because of a devastating earthquake. Colosseum is an elliptical building measuring 189 meters long and 156 meters wide with a base area of 24,000 m with a height of more than 48 meter. Colosseum was built near the giant statue of Colossus which was part of the Neros Park. Receiving millions of visitors every year, the Colosseum is the most famous tourist attraction of Rome. Based on historical evidences, 200 bullock carts were used to transport marbles to the construction site.

It was struck by lightening during a violent electrical strom on feb.10,2008. And also suffered some damage on fingers , head & eyebrows. On July 7, 2007, the Swiss based organization, recognized it as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Princess Isabel contemplated the project for a period of time before dismissing the creation of Christ the Redeemer.

It was built between 220 -206 BC by first emperor of china,Qin Shi Huang. It was built to protect the rule of china and have included border controls ,encourage of trade etc.. 7,300 km from east to west. It would be visible to the unaided eye from moon,whose average distance from earth is 384,393 km.

It also resulted that less than China Great Wall Academy reported on December 12, 2002 that the forces of nature and destruction by mankind are bringing about gradual reduction. It also resulted that less than 30% remains in good condition. Construction Period: About 2,000 years from the Warring States Period (476 BC - 221 BC) to Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Construction on the first section began between the 7th and 6th century BC, and the last work on the wall was done between the 14th and 17th centuries.

In Jordan. Petra means rock in Greek. Another name for petra is the Rose City due to the colour of the stone . Its buildings are worked on the same rock in the Valley. A great symbol of Engineering & Protection!

The City of Petra was hidden in the mountains of Jordan for thousands of years when a young Swiss explorer Johan Ludwig Burckhardt rediscovered it in 1812.
Petra is more popular for its 800 individual monuments that includes buildings, tombs, baths, funerary halls, temples etc.

In Agra, India Taj mahal was constructed between 1630 and 1648. by Muslim Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan to honor the memory of his beloved late wife, , Mumtaz Mahal. It is a great symbol of Love & Passion!

Around 20,000 people worked day and night for twenty two years to complete construction of the taj mahal. The cost of construction of the taj mahal was around Rs.320 million. The taj mahal was constructed using the best quality marble from Rajastan,Tibet,Afganistan and china. Shah jahan approached the taj mahal on a boat which could sail down the river yamuna which ran behind the taj mahal. There was a popular myth that shah jahan was planning to construct a black taj mahal across the yamuna ,this is not true.
