How is OSB made?

How is OSB made? OSB is manufactured from sustainable, fast-growing trees such as aspen poplar, southern yellow pine, mixed hardwoods, and other suitable species. Logs are cut to length, debarked, and processed into precise strands ranging from 3 1/2" to 6" (90 to 150 mm) long and approximately 1" wide (25 mm). The strands are dried, sorted, and mixed with wax and a waterproof exterior-type binder and formed into large continuous mats. These mats are oriented in cross directional layers for increased strength, then pressed at a high temperature and pressure to form panels. Throughout this highly automated and fully engineered process, panels are monitored, tested, and certified to meet stringent quality standards for strength and uniformity.

If OSB is used the storage life of package will increase 5 times more., There will be no gap between two sheet of OSB. Package of the OSB has to be design according to Nut-Bolting system. So, packing /un packing will become easy and less chance of damage at the time of un-packing. Can be stored out side the premises (Must be covered with tarpoline cover) No-Chance of Fungus. Asthatically will look good. With the help of Humidity Indicator plug we can get the view outside the wood and if the humidity increases we can change the VCI and Silica Gel and again use the same material to pack the package in nut bolting mode. Material is 100% re-usable (No-impact on look due to storage)., If there is 100 Pcs order which is going to be despatched in 10 lots i.e. 10 Nos x 10 Sets. We can make the metal structure and OSB set for 10 Nos. After reaching the material at site. It can be imported again under LCL mode by dismentalling and can save the packing cost for 90 Nos. Disposal of OSB will have very less impact on environment compare to wood. And if are saving the wood consumption for 90 packages it will also definitely help environment.
