Banned Commodities - All Services

Certain items are banned or restricted for carrying by carriers because of the restrictions imposed by the Bureau Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) and/or the Regulatory Requirements of the State. Listed below are the various categories of Banned and Restricted Commodities.

Currency Indian Postal Articles Philately Items Pornography Bullion Drugs and Narcotics (Illegal) Firearms, parts thereof and ammunition Contra Brand. Precious & Semi-Precious Items ( Diamond, Gold, Platinum ) Radioactive Material Smuggled goods Protected Forest goods such as sandal wood. Gutkha, panmasala and their variants containing tobacco and nicotine. ( Gutkha is a powdery, granular white smokeless product that contains arecanut, tobacco, nicotine, lime, spices, cardamom, catechu, colouring agents and pleasing flavouring odours )

Items cannot be booked in normal circumstances

Restricted items by Transporter Liquid with poor packing. Perishable like fruits & vegetables. Live Plants. Flowers Items required special temperature through out transit. Items with Poor packing. ( Naked one Without packing. ) Fragile items ( With condition of no settlement can be accepted. ) Single Pkg having weight of more than 2 ton. ( Otherwise should be moved on FTL mode. ) Single pkg having the dimension more than 10X7X7 can not be booked or else it should transport without transshipment or crossing.

Dangerous goods are substances that present an immediate hazard to people, property or the environment. They are classified on the basis of immediate physical or chemical risk. The hazard presented may be due to properties such as flammability, toxicity or chemical reactivity .

1. Any shipment which would be likely to cause damage, or delay to equipment personnel or other shipments.

2. Any shipment which may require the carrier to obtain a license for its transportation. eg. Forest goods. 3. Any item whose carriage is prohibited by any law, statutory regulations of the Indian Union.
