1.Guidance to Installation of FEEL System


Preparation Personal Computer that meets Servers requirement. Disk of FEEL Products (Document and Software Inside) Software installed on PC Server as following Install Database (Oracle) Install FEEL View (DCS and Website) Install GPRS Modem, connected to DCS Server Install FEEL Distribution Server (MP) Install FEEL Distribution Control Console (MC) Install FEEL Distribution Client/Agent (MT) on ATM

Server Hardware Requirement


Item CPU Basic Requirement Recommendation Standard x86-compatible / x86-64-compatible Intel Xeon 2.8GHz, dual CPU, or IBM Power Series CPU, single CPU or more Single Intel Pentium IV 2.0 GHz CPU is required at least. 512MB RAM at least 2GB RAM At lease 10GB free space. 200MB for system 200GB SATA/SCSI HDD application programs and configuration files, 3GB for database data files, and the others for system logging files. Available TCP/IP network, 10MB LAN at least Windows XP and advance version,Linux Oracle Release 2 BEA WebLogic,IBM WebSphere,JBoss,Tomcat 10/100MB LAN Windows 2003 Oracle Release 2 Tomcat

2.Database Instance Creation and Startup


Installation: Create feelview Database Instance

Configure Oracle Net listener

Startup Database Service Listeners and Database Instance

Note: Remember to set the database name (SID) as feelview .

Set the password of sys and system as system. These settings will be used when we import the feelview data. (optional)
You can create the FEEL View database as a startup database when you install oracle, or create a new instance if you already have installed oracle.

3.FEEL View Installation and Startup


Installation: Copy FEELView4.0 and jdk1.5 to the same driver partition. Remove the read-only attribute. Import feelview_v4.exp into database. Add databases IP in the hosts file. (%SystemRoot% \system32\drivers\etc\hosts) such as:

3.1 Launch FEEL View Data Collect Server (DCS)


Startup DCS ( execute <runServer.cmd> )

Carry out logs logs\viewSrvErr.log and logs\viewSrvInfo.log

3.2 Launch FEEL View Website


Startup Tomcat Http Server(execute <startWeb.cmd>)

Initialize FEEL View Management Website When the Tomcat startup FEEL View website successfully, it needs to initialize data. Please refresh URL: http://127.0.0.1/feelview/InitContext.do

Carry out log logs\viewError.log and logs\viewInfo.log

4.GPRS Installation and Startup


Installation: Put the SIM card into GPRS Modem. Make GPRS Modem link to computer and power on. Adjust parameters in configuration file.(see next section) Set the -DSMSs value Y in runServer.cmd and restart DCS Startup: Execute <runServer.cmd>, if the GPRS links successfully, it will show the device information like this:

5. Parameter Settings
5.1 Parameter of GPRS Modem File Path:
FEEL-View-Server-4.0.jar\cn\grgbanking\view\server\sms\sms.properties

Parameter : sms.modem.rate Value : 115200 (The rate of GPRS Modem ) Parameter : sms.modem.commPort Value : COM1 ( The port of GPRS Modem) File Path: runServer.cmd Parameter: DSMS Value: Y/N (Y=Open the SMS alert; N=Close the SMS alert)

5.2 Parameter of Offline Time


File Path:
FEEL-View-Server-4.0.jar\cn\grgbanking\view\server\config\viewserverconfig.properties

Parameter: Interval_CheckATM
Value: 3600 (the sending interval over 60 MINs, the state of ATM switch to offline) 5.3 Parameters on Client Adjust the FEEL Views IP on client and check to make sure it can connect to FEEL View DCS Adjust the Databases IP of hosts and let FEEL View can connect to it

5.4 The Parameter of Log File Path: FEEL-View-Server4.0.jar\cn\grgbanking\view\server\config\log4j.properties Parameter: log4j.appender.XXXX.File Value : The name of File Parameter: log4j.appender.XXXX. MaxFileSize Value : The Size of File Parameter: log4j.appender.XXXX. MaxBackupIndex Value : The number of File

5.5 The Parameter of Database

6. Support on FEEL View


When problem happen and can not fix it, what can we do? Disk of FEEL Products (Document and Software Inside) Need to prepare before support: Get log file, what file, where is it, what times log file, how to get it Get the problem screen Get the running scene of that time point
