Technology Used
The Technology used in making this project are the languages PHP and MySQL which are the most widely used web development tools these days. With the use of these languages a user is able to build a large or commercial website which are customizable and contain real time information.

PHP->
PHP is a server-side scripting language designed specifically for the Web, originally named Personal Home Page, but was changed and now stands for PHP Hypertext Preprocessor. PHPs High performance, Interfaces to many database systems, Built-in libraries for many common Web tasks, Low cost, Portability, Ease of learning and use are its main strengths to compete against various other scripting languages.

PHP contd..
The PHP code is embedded within an HTML page that is be executed each time the page is visited. The PHP code is interpreted at the Web server and an HTML output is generated that the visitor will see. It is an Open Source product, thus we can use it, alter it, and redistribute it all without charge.

MySQL->
MySQL is a very fast, robust, relational database management system, which enables us to efficiently store, search, sort, and retrieve data. MySQL server controls access to our data to ensure that multiple users can work with it concurrently, to provide fast access to it and to ensure that only authorized users can obtain access. Hence it is a multi-user, multi threaded server.

About The Project:

The website has been developed for our college (SDDIE) in an effort to make it as attractive and dynamic as possible. Compared to the existing site a database has been added to our project. The working of the project is as follows:

Future Scope:
One of the main future enhancements of our system is to include an online forum that facilitates students to link to each other . Scope has also been made to add a link for providing notes for the students.

Conclusion
The system has been developed with much care that it is free of errors and at the same time it is efficient and less time consuming. We have tried our level best to make the site as dynamic as possible. Also provision is provided for future developments in the system. This online system will be approved and implemented soon.
