What does Koryo mean?
Koryo is Japanese for Haunting
Fox.
It is a type of spirit fox (Reiko)
The Fox (Kitsune) is the mascot
for Animation Exclamation.
History
Animation Exclamation was founded on
Feb. 16th, 2004 by Joey and Amanda Tripp.
Three chapters currently are affiliated with
AnEx.

What is AnEx all about?
AnEx is an organization that promotes knowledge of
and an interest in Asian and Popular Culture
AnEx accomplishes this through entertainment
such as anime, manga, gaming, art, and music.
AnEx is not just an anime club.
We do more than average anime clubs (for
example):
Promotes understanding of cultural differences
between U.S. and Asian countries.
AnEx provides leadership opportunities.
AnEx creates a place for people to share common
interests.

Membership in AnEx
Eligibility of Membership
Be over 14 years of age;
Have an interest in Asian culture and popular
culture;
Be of good moral character and shall possess
recognized qualities of citizenship;
Be a currently enrolled student of MGC;
Be a student of good character and academic
standing;
Abide by the policies, rules, and regulations
that govern this chapter.
Membership Types
General Members.
A general member of Animation
Exclamation shall be a person who has
met the basic requirements for
membership.
Active Members.
Active Members must participate in
required fundraising, events, and
programs and shall have maintained the
standards necessary for membership in
the organization.
Membership Types
Alumni Members.
An alumnus member shall be a former
member of Animation Exclamation who
has terminated active membership in
good standing and enrolled as a member
of the organization for at least one year.
Honorary Members.
An honorary member shall be a person
who, in the opinion of the organization
has rendered distinguished service to the
organization.
