Baseband SubsystemHBBI
Board Number maximum is 2 Main Functions
The HBBI interfaces the RF subrack with the baseband subrack. The HBBI processes UL and DL baseband signals. Each HBBI can process 128 equivalent channels in the UL and 256 DL equivalent channels. The UL resources of HBBI and HULP form a UL resource pool. The DL resources of HBBI and HDLP form a DL resource pool. Each HBBI supports the processing capability of three cells both in the UL and in the DL. The HBBI supports the High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) technology and 14.4 Mbit/s data flow in each cell

Baseband SubsystemHBOI
Main Functions Provides an interface between the RRU and the baseband subrack in the basic cabinet. Each HBOI can process 128 equivalent channels in the UL and 256 DL equivalent channels. The three optical ports on the HBOI support remote RRU connection over 0.55 km (multimode), 10 km, and 40 km. They also support transmission rate at 1.25 Gbit/s and 2.5 Gbit/s specified in CPRI protocols. For the optical port with transmission rate at 1.25 Gbit/s, each port supports five remote cells in 2-way RX diversity. For the optical port with transmission rate at 2.5 Gbit/s, each port supports eight remote cells in 2-way RX diversity. The UL resources of HBOIs and HULPs form the UL resource pool. The DL resources of HBOIs and HDLPs form the DL resource pool. Each HBOI supports the processing capability of three cells both in the UL and in the DL. The HBOI supports data flow with the rate at 14.4 Mbit/s in each cell
