Mechanical Type
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
The Axial Guard is a new type of mechanical type overload protection device for mechanisms where the load acts linearly, such as pushers or cranks.
Transport equipment: Crane, Hoist, Chain block, Conveyor Packaging machine: Bag making and filling machine, Cartoning machine
Thermal Type
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
This protection is designed to prevent damage within a motor or other similar device caused by overheating. Overload relays within a motor, engine, or other device are designed to respond to excessive internal temperatures and will automatically shut down power within the unit in order to prevent permanent damage and allow for a forced period of cooling.
Thermal overload relays are 3 pole. The motor current flows through their bimetals (1 per phase) which are indirectly heated. Under the effect of the heating, the bimetals bend, cause the relay to trip and the position of the auxiliary contacts to change.
Electrical Type
OVERLOAD PROTECTION
Start Time During startup, the current draw of a motor is greater than the running current. In order to prevent the shock relay from engaging during startup, the start time of the shock relay is adjustable from 0.2 seconds to 30 seconds. The shock relay will only trip when the current draw of the motor exceeds the trip current and when the start time is reached.
Shock Time
The shock time feature allows the current overload time to be set. The shock time is adjustable from 0.2 seconds to 10 seconds. The shock relay will only trip when the current draw of the motor exceeds the trip current and when the shock time is exceeded.
The Shock Monitor is a power monitoring safety and control device that can detect even the minimal variations in load by monitoring input power.
