Background: Many local graduates still fail to gain employment despite high academic qualifications. The main reasons for this dilemma are lack of: self confidence self/team management skills problem solving skills a positive attitude an innovative mindset, and competent English language skills.

Solution: Thus, we need a total development program that will not only improve English Language skills but also develop interpersonal, management and problemsolving skills that would enhance self-market value and employability as well as knowledge on entrepreneuring. In this programme, the students will be equipped with soft-skills related training such as Leadership, Teamwork, Time-Management, Intra & Interpersonal Skills, Customer Service. As a result, the students will find themselves more confident, more resourceful and more efficient when communicating in English,. Ultimately, they increase their marketability.

Programme: Excel Career Camp: A 5-day experiential learning programme where the participants learn the essentials skills needed for youth development through English Drama, in line with the governments aspirations

SMART Career Advisory Camp

The Introduction

The challenges of todays employment and entrepreneurial arena require a more positive mindset, leadership attributes and a resourcefulness that would increase organization productivity.

Globalization has also resulted in the need for more aggressive, confident communication in English.

In general, however, Malaysian youths remain lacking in the essential skills necessary to face global challenges, namely: self confidence self/team management skills problem solving skills a positive attitude an innovative mindset, and competent English language skills.
