PLASTIC PYROLYSIS PLANT

INTRODUCTION
Pyrolysis is the process of thermal degradation in the absence of oxygen to efficiently convert plastics to crude oil. We use steel wool and sand brick as catalyst

The pyrolysis oil obtained at high temperatures are heavy in nature and for low temperatures the oil obtained are lighter.

THE TECHNOLOGY
Plant modular in concept, can be deployed in different capacities May be situated wherever it is deemed necessary
Through this we can produce clean, low sulphur diesel Process does not emit any pollution

MISSION STATEMENT
To safeguard human health and the environment by using the latest technology to provide efficient and cost-effective, environmentally friendly industrial and domestic waste management and disposal.

MAINLY USED PLASTICS

Polyethylene terephthalate(PET) High Density polyethylene(HDPE) Low Density Polyethylene(LDPE) Polyvinylchloride(PVC) Polypropylene(PP) Polystyrene(PS)

PLASTICS & ITS ADVERSE EFFECTS

Plastics are high molecular mass polymers composed of carbon and hydrogen In the Nation wide survey conducted in the year 2008, more than 10,000 Tons of plastic waste is generated daily in India. only 40% of the same is recycled, balance 60% is not possible to dispose off. Blast furnace, Gasification are not much appreciated solution, as toxic gases are released and their cost of production is quite high

CURRENT SITUATION

MODEL

PROCESS
First of all, the dry Plastic wastages that are segregated is feed into a Cylindrical Chamber and it is treated continuously there .

Plastic wastages are pyrolysed with catalysts (sand brick/steel wool ) at 350C to 600C . Resulting pyrolytic gas is condensed in a speciallydesigned condenser system.

REACTION
300-500C Monomers and other volatile catalyst products (sand brick)

Polymers compounds

WORK DONE SO FAR

Theorectical study was done Rough model was made and sample product was obtained

SCOPE OF PROJECT
It offers a greater hope in generating fuel oil The capital cost required to invest on pyrolysis plant is low So this technology may be the beacon light in the future

PLAN AHEAD
Purchase of components Fabrication Testing
