TESDA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

PESFA extend financial assistance to marginalized but deserving students in technical-vocational education and training. It shall be directed towards the job requirements of priority industries and sector with high employment demand and improving the reach of quality TVET to the grassroots.

BENEFICIARIES
Must be high school graduate; At least 15 years old; Have taken the National Career Assessment Examination Examination (NCAE) or have undergone the Youth Profiling for Starring Careers (YP4SC) Have an annual family income of not more than (P120,000.00)

TRAINING FOR WORK SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (TWSP)

TWSP is directed towards filling up the skills gaps and job requirements of priority industries and sectors with high employment demand, improving the reach of quality TVET to the grassroots and encouraging technicalvocational institutions to offer programs in higher qualifications catering to in-demand industry requirements.

KEY EMPLOYMENT GENERATORS

The TVET Qualifications to be offered shall focus on KEGs in the areas of Agri-Fishery, Tourism, Business Process Outsourcing, Semiconductor and Electronics, Automotive, General Infrastructure and other new and emerging industries.

BENEFICIARIES
Must be at least 18 years old Educational attainment shall be based on industry requirements; Priority shall be given to unemployed, persons with disability, indigenous peoples, solo parents, senior citizens and other marginalized groups.

CAREER PROFILING/YP4SC Career Profiling is a component of the Youth Profiling for Starring Careers (YP4SC), one of TESDAs career guidance services geared toward helping students, out-of-school youth and unemployed adults decide intelligently on what career to pursue.

Career Profiling/YP4SC It also helps to resolve problems of people wanting to change careers or shift courses. Career Profiling is anchored on having ones aptitudes and job interests assessed and the resulting profile matched with relevant labor market information and appropriate courses for a best jot fit analysis.
