INTRODUCTION

The drug is a chemical substance used in the treatment, cure, prevention, or diagnosis of disease or used to otherwise enhance physical or mental well being A drug is any substance that, when absorbed into the body of living organism, alters normal body function. Different types of drugs are antidepressant, barbiturates cannabis narcotics, drugs are usually distinguished from endogenous biochemical by being introduced from outside the organism. For example, insulin is a hormone that is synthesized in the body, it is a called a hormone when it is synthesized by the pancreas inside the body, but if it is introduced into the body from the outside, it is called a drug (Jessica et al.2005). Nature drug are considered coffee, sugar and the synthetic drug are considered steroids, stimulants.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

The present study was conducted to determine the stability of various drugs like Ampoxin dry syrup Cloxocillin by different methods such as friability, hardness tester, Karl Fischer Titrator with the following objectives: OBJECTIVES: To determine the water content by Karl Fischer Titrator. To identify the components present in tablets by I.R. spectroscopy. To determine the disintegration rate of tablets by Disintegrator.

Location of the experiment:

The present was carried out in life science department of Shri guru ram institute of science and technology , Patel nagar Dehradun Uttrakhand and experiment work was carried out at quality control laboratory of quality control department in Unimedico is the associate with Unichemistry Laboratories ltd Mumbai it is situated in vast area at Parma city Selaqui 20 km from the city of Dehradun, Uttarakhand India it is one of the reputed organization of field of pharmaceuticals Unimedico labs is Delhi based company it has a unit for capsule tablet dry syrup and dry powder. Quality control is well designed to analyses all material in different section like microbiological section, instrument section Filters, pH meter, Sonicator, Weighing balance, Friability, Disintegrator, Karl fisher and chemistry section.

RESULT AND DISCUSSION

Friability is the ability of a solid substance to be reduced to smaller pieces with little effort. Friction and shock are the forces that most often cause tablets to chip, cap or break. The friability test is closely related to tablet hardness and to determine the wear and tear of tablets during transpiration of tablets. The standard value of friability of Ampoxin Kid tablets is not more than 0.5%w/w as mention in quality standard document. The observed friability value of Ampoxin was as follows:
