Causes Of Drug Abuse Among Teenagers

Introduction
a substance used alone or as an ingredient in medicine. Drug abuse means the illegal use of drugs. Marijuana, cocaine and nicotine are the examples of drugs.

Nicotine

brings negative effects to us either in physical or mental if we use it for a long period of time. many factors that contribute towards drug abuse.

Body - Causes
1. poor parental supervision - Lack of parental control can have significant effect on children.

- both parents having to go to work and having to work long hours and hard to find the appropriate time to talk to their children.

Children and teenagers who are left alone for long periods of time or who are allowed to go out as they please will have more opportunities towards exposure of drugs.

The less supervision a teen has, the more opportunity for him to be exposed to drugs simply due to boredom or needs for finding a connection with peers.

let their kids do whatever they please, then you may be providing your children with a fine opportunity to get exposed to drugs.

2. lack of communication
- parents do not care and spend much time with their children.

- do not show their care to them .


- lack of family support, love, care and concern from family .

They do not build relationships with the teen. Small talk isn't really small; it can sustain critical connections with a teenager.

3. Availability - Can be everywhere - drugs in the home make the option for teen experimentation easy and accessible. - When a parent uses substances, it sets a precedent for the teen to follow, especially if there is a lack of parental guidance and supervision.

Teens also can access drugs through retailers who selling tobacco and alcohol. street drug dealers are targeting teen buyers

Conclusion
is a kind of chemical that brings effects to our body. lack of parental supervision, lack of communication and availability to get the drug are the factors that leading to drug abuse.

do not bring benefits to us but endanger our lives. avoid themselves from taking drugs.

should think twice before they do something.
