Spiritual Gifts are supernatural
endowments or empowerments that
God provides in a specific situation.
Talents are natural endowments,
characteristics, aptitudes, or
dispositions that a person has in
general.

Two Definitions of Gifts
#1 When the ownership of something is
voluntarily transferred by one person to
another without compensation .
#2 A notable capacity that sets apart or
distinguishes one from the rest. The
endowment of some special power or
ability.

Greek Word = charismata
Charis = Grace or favor
Mata = to be with
To experience a special endowment
or favor given by a divine being.

Definition of Spiritual Gifts
The special grace or favor denoting
extraordinary powers, distinguishing
certain Christians and enabling them to
serve the church. The reception of
these gifts is due to the power of divine
grace operating on their souls by the
Holy Spirit.

Having a good sense. The ability to
know the right course of action.
