Introduction
There are 28 states in India which can be divided into five parts. North, South , East, West and Central. India is one of the most religiously diversified nation in the world, with some of the most deeply religious societies and cultures with 67 different languages spoken around the country.

Maharashtra, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu are some of the developed states in India.

Western Region of India


Western region of India consists of the states of Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra, The states are roughly bounded by the Thar Desert in the northwest, the Vindhya Range in the north and the Arabian Sea in the west. Geography Climate Demographics Culture Cuisine Economy

South Region of India


Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu states comes in the south region. Tamil Nadu is one of the most industrialized state of the country. It has many engineering and vehicle manufacturing companies. Karnataka is the leader in the field of IT . India's biggest software firms, Infosys and Wipro are also headquartered in the state.

South Region of India


Andhra Pradesh ranks second in terms of overall Gross State Product among all the states. Agriculture has been the chief source of income for the state's economy. Andhra Pradesh is an exporter of many agricultural products Kerala is an established tourist destination for both Indians and non-Indians . Service industry dominates the Kerala economy. South Indian states are specialized in both industry and agriculture sector.

Central Region of INDIA


Chhattisgarh
Rice Bowl of Central India. It had separated from M.P in the year 2000. It is a source of electricity and steel in India. Area : 135,194.5 km2 and population : 25,545,198. Capital :Raipur

HEART OF INDIA
MADHYA PRADESH
M.P is second largest state in country by Area and Sixth largest by population. Capital :Bhopal (city of lakes) Area : 308252 Km sq. and Population : 72597565 people State is rich in Mineral resources and has largest reserve of diamond and copper National Tourism Award in 2010-2011

NARMADA river has its origin from AMARKANTAK Home to 9 national park
