Introduction
The Company entered into a fiber optic business line in 2009 competing large contractors in the market and now is a leading vendor for Pakistan Telecommunication Limited (PTCL). The Company is registered with Pakistan Engineering Council, Federal Board of Revenue and Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Company has completed mega projects of Telecom and other civil Infrastructure development with reputable clients like Multi-Nationals, Defense, Corporate and Government sector.
Nowadays there are number of public/private sector and Government classified projects under execution.

Logistics Management
Vendor move the issued inventory from customer store to the sites. Usually Shehzore trucks are used. Below mentioned are measuring units and standard length of the issued inventory from the customer : The length of a single HDPE Cable roll is 100 meters The length of Copper Roll is maximum 1000 meters The length of Optical Fiber Roll is 400 meters The length of warning tape roll is 100 meters Rest of the items are issued in box quantity, depending upon the required need

Management of Supply Chain

The Company ensures inventory issuance, reached to proejct site Unused inventory is returned after laying of cable (FOC, Copper) Jointing kits are used as per actual joints in the kit Warning tape are measured and unused returned to the Company store All other necessary items unused are returned to The Company Reconciliation of store items of customer is undertaking after project completion Site is closed and handed over to customer followed by payment of 80% of the invoice amount to the Company. Retention money 20% is paid after 6 money to the Company.

Factors disturbing smooth supply Chain

In case of short store items from customer store, the gap is filled moving inventory from one project site to another project site. The cables issued are of actual trench length, cable loops are not catered in POs Theft occurs at project sites Force Majours like fire erupts (picture of fire eruption is pasted below) Written error in terms of cable types

PREVENTIVE MEASURES TO AVOID DISTURBANCE IN SUPPLY CHAIN

It is ensured that NOT a single item should be taken from store without written entry Proper gate pass with exact number of in/out inventory is enforced Movement of inventory between project sites are strictly NOT ALLOWED Customer should ensure timely availability of concern store in charges Implementation of automated material handling and logistics system coupled with state of the art GIS technology will cover all loop holes will be covered. 5% of the inventory wastages should be officially allowed
