Web Ontology Language (OWL): is used by applications that process the content of information.
Resource Description Framework (RDF): This refers to a language for describing information and resources on the web. The Semantic Web uses this language to define web resources. RDF Schema: It does not provide a vocabulary of application and properties. Instead, it gives the facilities required to describe such classes and properties, and to indicate which classes and properties are expected to be used together.
